An Introduction!

Whether you're a new or old friend visiting this site, I want to welcome you and say a huge THANK YOU for visiting and celebrating this launch!

I have dreamed about launching a website and business designed to serve others with my gifts and my story for so long now, and I finally decided to go for it after so much encouragement from my friends and awesome community in Baton Rouge, LA and beyond. So thank you guys so, so much. I truly have the best friends in the world.

I wanted to give a brief introduction (aside from my little about me page!) so you can get to know me a little more. I love connecting with people, so I wanted to let you in to hear a bit about why I decided to do this!

After earning my Bachelor's in a science-based degree and working a couple of years in that field, I realized how miserable I was. Not because what I was doing was insignificant but because I was not made to do it. I have always been a creative-type yet I had chosen a career that seemed more "practical" to the world, more lucrative, more socially acceptable.

I finally came to a screeching halt on that career path the day I had a panic attack at my job and realized how I could not continue. It was from that day forward that I began creating, jumping back into things I grew up doing and loving. A friend of mine told me about a professional calligraphy training class, and I took the leap. I bought all the supplies, learned the skills, and fell in love all over again with all things artsy.

I began to create just to create, just because I loved it! Then, I had so many people encourage me to step forward in launching a business. I was hesitant at first because my natural infj-self is a tad bit uneasy at the thought of being seen on a large scale versus a nice little one-on-one coffee date. But I finally took the leap and decided that my story is one worth sharing and telling. So I'm going to tell it. Because I hope to inspire you to do the same. Plus, let's just pretend you and I are sharing coffee anyways. :)

Months and months later, here we are. I have already loved connecting with so many of you via social media and I look forward to continuing to get to know you. I am so excited to create some beautiful things for you and share bits of my story along the way. Thanks for reading, and please comment below if you have anything to share as well!
